Have you seen photos of the North Shore trails in mountain bike magazines and been curious about what it’s like to ride here? Ride the Shore Inc. provides custom trip planning services for experienced mountain bikers interested in multi-day trips to the legendary trails of the North Shore, Squamish, Whistler, Kamloops and Spruce Lake British Columbia, Canada. Whether you are a cross-country rider, a freerider, a downhiller, or any combination of the three, there is great riding to be found in southern British Columbia.
What we do is different from most biking tour companies as there are no set tour itineraries, group rides, or guides (unless you want them) - you have complete flexibility in where and when you ride. Think of it as a package for mountain bikers who don’t like packaged tours.
Here’s how it works: Ride the Shore Inc. can arrange any of the following for your group - accommodation, vehicle rental, trail maps, guiding services, lessons, and bike rentals. Guiding services, lessons, and bike rentals are available as options. You’re in control of the rest - the dates, the number of days you ride, where you ride, and who you ride with.
Want to add something more exotic? Ride the Shore Inc. can arrange heli-biking or float-plane assisted mountain biking excursions to such places as Spruce Lake and the Southern Chilcotins. In addition to mountain biking, there are a multitude of outdoor activities such as river rafting, sea and river kayaking, rock climbing, and hiking opportunities in the area, which we can arrange if you want a break from riding.
*It is important that you are aware that riding on the North Shore, in Squamish, and in Whistler is very different than what you may be used to. Due to the climate and topography of the Coast Mountain range, trails can be very steep and rugged. Be aware that the risk of injury is considerable.
